ABSTRACT

               The objectives of this research were 1) to study the current state of the school’s information technology management under the northeastern vocational education institute of Thailand. 2) to draft the policy proposals of the school’s information technology management.
3) to confirm the policy proposals of the school’s information technology management. The study used a mixed methodology education consisting of 3 phases. Phase 1: Study of current state of the school’s information technology management from document, textbooks and theories as well as exploratory study with 285 administrators and teachers and multi case studies with 2 best practice schools. Phase 2: Develop the draft of policy proposal of school’s information technology management to evaluate the policy proposal by 9 In-depth Experts Interview and 12 experts group meetings. Phase 3: Confirm the policy proposals of the school’s information technology management by 33 stakeholders group meeting.
               The results of this research were as follows: 1) the current state of the school’s information technology management under the northeastern vocational educational institute was at a high level, 2) there were 7 policy proposals of the school’s information technology management; information technology infrastructure, information technology organization, strategic planning, information technology, roles of Information technology personnel, monitoring and evaluation of Information technology, teaching and research. 3) The confirmation of the school’s information technology management under the northeastern vocational education institutes; utility, congruity, propriety and feasibility, was at a high level.
